I am looking for a linux usenet tool to monitor 1 or 2 newsgroups and autodownload all the videos.

Does something like this exist?

How do you recognize a video that's posted?

Anyway: have considered the RSS feeds of those 2 newsgroups?

Hmm good point. That might work and then I could use sab to just monitor those rss feeds

There is also a program called URD. It's fairly nice, although wasn't what I needed.
