Changes port on restart

Post by ShavedApe »

Version: 0.6.15
OS: Windows 7 x64
Install-type: Windows Installer
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes for me it is

In older versions if I downloaded an nzb I could double click them and they would be added to the queue for me, in this version only some do that others are found under status and have to be added manually by clicking add, upon doing that I am left with the a message that tells me to click to repair. Which I do since nothing is happening I assume there is a problem. I do that and sabnzbd restarts only for whatever reason it changes the port and since I don't have it load the webpage on start up I have no idea where it is.

I use a Chrome plugin that allows me to go to sabnzbd and also see its current status but that also requires the correct port for it to work.

Little update on this it seems to change the port even after I restart my pc, I have sort of gotten around it I think by setting my ini file to read only but that of course isnt the best option

You can also modify SABnzbd's shortcut and add:
--server localhost:8080
Assuming you are using localhost.
