Problem with job folders

Post by SewerUrchin »

I saw the advice here: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10666

I want to get rid of the enclosing folders from my downloads, so I read the note on at the top of the Config->Categories page. There it said:
Defines post-processing and storage. Use the "Groups / Indexer tags" column to map groups and tags to your categories.
Wildcards are supported. Use commas to seperate terms. Ending the path with an asterisk * will prevent creation of job folders.
Relative folders are based on: /share/MD0_DATA/Handy/Torrents
I keep the downloads in the directory: /share/MD0_DATA/Handy/Torrents/Incomplete/ until completed.

Since I want the files stored in the directory /share/MD0_DATA/Handy/Torrents, I just put a "*" in the folder/path field. this caused most of my downloads to fail, and the error messages frequently made reference to trying to link files form other downloads into the post processing process. Here is a fresh example form a couple of minutes ago:
Completed 2012-05-13 21:16:13
Name The.Simpsons.S23E21.HDTV.x264-LOL - Unpacking failed, see log
Size 100 MB
Status Failed
Category tv
Path /share/MD0_DATA/Handy/Torrents
Download Downloaded in 1 minute 1 second at an average of 1.6 MB/s
Repair [the.simpsons.2321.hdtv-lol] Quick Check OK
Unpack [the.simpsons.2321.hdtv-lol] Unpacked 1 files/folders in 3 seconds
[aia-s01e01-fact0rial] ERROR: Bad archive /share/MD0_DATA/Handy/Torrents/Incomplete/Angels in America S01E01 AC3 AAC DVDRip x264 FACT0RIAL/aia-s01e01-fact0rial.part11.rar
0 files in 0 seconds
getting rid of the asterisk from the folder/path field allows the NZB to download, but now I have more folders than i want. Any suggestions?

It could be that just a single * does not work.
Try ./* instead.

I just backed my default folder to /share/MD0_DATA/Handy/ and set the path/folder to Torrents/* and it is working perfectly.

Thanks for the help!
