Help With Categories

Post by brando56894 »

No matter what I try I can't seem to get the categories set up correctly in SAB. The only one that works correctly is the tv category, most likely because it comes from Sick Beard.

I have other categories setup for games (xbox360), porn, movies, and music and none of them get added.

This is the way I have it set up currently: Image

What do you expect the categories to do?
You have three options.
Set the category manually when entering an NZB.
Use subfolders named after the categories in your watched folder.
With some indexer sites (like nzbmatrix.com) you can map their categories to your own.
(Use the Help button for more info).

I remember having to set up specific folders before when I set this up, but didn't do it this time. I was hoping to to have the completed downloads moved to the specific folders since post-processing doesn't seem to work in anything other than Sick Beard.

Did you check your settings in Config->Sorting?
You need to enable categories for the sorting types.

I figured out how to get music sorted via Headphones (has to be manually post processed). The only options I see in sorting is for movies and tv shows is there a way to add a custom category?

Sort is primarily aimed at series.
The other two are generic.
For each category you can set a seperate path.
