Disable .nomedia?

Post by KrakaJap »

Is there any way to disable the .nomedia file creation? I think I understand why this is being created by the release notes but for some reason it remains in the folder and does not automatically remove when the extraction and move is complete. I even added ".nomedia" to the cleanup list but it fails to delete that file.

EDIT: Never mind I think I found it in the Special / Values settings ;D

EDIT 2: Yup that disabled it... sorry to bother O0

If the file remains, it's a bug.
So the solution is not to clear the field (although it is for you),
but for me to fix it.

D'oh - was just about to report this, though I only mention this as I didn't want you to think I hadn't tested it out.

So tell more about the circumstances.
Because it's not true that the file remains always.

Yeah sorry, I saw it twice so far both video downloads, one was direct in the main movie category folder (I don't use subfolders for films) the other was a TV show in a series subfolder.

I'll try to get an example asap.

Ok, so it's associated with Sorting.
At least that gives a clue about where to look.

Sorry for the delay in getting back.

Yup, any of my TV or Movie downloads where I use sorting have the .nomedia file left behind.

Still, I know the file is helping me with failed renames as I temporarily changed file name to X.nomedia and the very next download failed to rename :)

The bug will be fixed in the next Beta.
Removal of the file did not take into account that it could have been moved by Sorting.
