First a quick introduction so you know how much of a newbie your dealing with.
I`m new to Sabnzb, new to Usenet, new to Linux and new to my Buffalo Linkstation. Basically I know nothing. Having said that I did manage to setup Sabnzb (with help) and managed to download a few things.
The history in Sab showed that they are somewhere like //mnt/array1/share/Sabnzb/downloads, or something like that. When I go to the download folder there are only two folders which are something to do with torrents
If I go to the setup page of Sabnzb and the folders tab then"completed download folder" is set as "downloads/complete" but I can`t find this folder anywhere. I changed it to "nzb" and the folder was created but if I try to access it in windows explorer I get "access is denied" and I now can`t delete it
I tried to follow instructions here http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.php/Sabnzbdplus but didn`t understand much apart from entering 0777 in the "Permissions for completed downloads" section without knowing what it means but that hasn`t helped
Can anybody please tell me where my downloaded files are and how I can get to them, preferably in plain English

Re: Where are my downloads?
I know. I`ve searched this forum and others. The Buffalo website hasn`t helped. Maybe there is no answer
Re: Where are my downloads?
Try to install SABnzbd 0.7.0 Beta3.
That release has a folder browser in the Config pages in the places where you
need to enter folders.
Use it to browse the NAS's internal folder structure until you find something that
also shows up on the Windows share offered by the NAS.

Re: Where are my downloads?
That sounds like it might help, thanks shypike.
The only problem I have is that the current version of Sab I have was installed for me by the person who sold me the Linkstation using Teamviewer to access my PC and something called Putty. I just watched in awe as he typed away in something like DOS and have no idea what he was doing.
Looks like some more research is needed or I could just stick to downloading on to my PC

Re: Where are my downloads? SOLVED
It seems all I had to do was rename the "completed downloads folder" from "downloads/complete" to "/mnt/array1/share/My_Downloads" and I can now view my downloads from windows explorer
