OSX Leopard?
Are you using the special Leopard DMG file, because the "standard" DMG has issues on Leopard.

AHA!! PROBLEM SOLVED!! Thank you for sticking with me on it.

I did have the leopard version. However after reading you last reply, I Uninstalled everything and downloaded a new SABnzbd-0.6.15-osx-leopard.dmg file. Reinstalled. This time it worked correctly. The only other thing I did prior to the new install was update the Flash plugin. I don't think that should have anything to do with it because 6.8 was already working. My problem was with the newer 6.15. Could I have had a damaged dmg file?

When Lion came out we were forced to create a SnowLeopard/Lion version
and a Leopard version (the latter works on SnowLeopard too).
Until 0.6.8 we had a single DMG, that did not work properly on Lion.
Unfortunately the SL/Lion version has no clear indication that it's not suitable for Leopard.
