Sabnzbd downloads double

When I download the nzb file, the program downloads this two times, how this is possible?

Probably because you have two of the below things activated:

* .NZB extension linked to SABnzbd
* something like sabconnect++ active
* you're saving the .NZB in the watch folder
* ...

I'm also experiencing this problem.

I bookmark a file from Newzbin using my iPhone.

Sabnzbd (on my NAS) will download the file twice, the second time with a ".1" extension added, so is effectively consuming double bandwidth and disk space. I receive 2 email reports a few mins apart.

The cause is any described by Sander.
The simplest work-around is to use the duplicate detection option
in Config->Switches.

duplicate detection option (set to discard) doesn't resolve the problem for me?!

I forgot to mention that this feature currently still depends on
setting an NZB backup folder in Config->Folders.
(You can wipe this folder periodically).

I ran into a similar issue, however upon reviewing task manger in XP
discovered I had two instances of Sab (and two sickbeards)running.
Stopped one (of each)and the issue resolved.

Take a peek, it might just be something simple :-)
