Hi,
I have a problem with my system: it won’t download anymore. Here’s the situation:
I am running XBMC (OpenELEC (v10)) on a Zotac Zbox. I’ve downloaded the Sabnzbd-suite and it all worked perfectly. Then, one day, Sabnzbd refused to download. The problem seems to be it can’t get a connection. Every time I press ‘Test Server’ (in Config -> Servers) it says ‘Invalid server address’.
Also, when I access openelec with ssl (on my OSX desktop), and try to ping the server, it does nothing. In addition: I am unable to ping anything. It seems like my DNS doesn’t work.
So I went into XBMC -> programs -> Openelec and set DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, but still nothing. I then brought my router back to it’s factory settings but still no succes.
Also, I disables all the plugins on XBMC that I had installed (except for the ones that were already installed).
Some other things I did:
Upgrade openelec to v11 (both 32 and 64 bit), but it didn’t help
Tried different ports on my router
Tried another usenet-server
I am completely clueless what to do next. How do I ‘fix’ this DNS-thing?
Thanks!

In https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10321 Shypike advised you to get help in an OpenElec forum; probably more system experience there.

Re: Connection problem Sabnzbd
Thanks. I've posted there as well, but I was hoping that someone on this forum had this problem before and could just point me in the right direction!sander wrote:In https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10321 Shypike advised you to get help in an OpenElec forum; probably more system experience there.
