Delete a lot from the queue

Is there a way to quickly delete many (not all) items from the queue?
It takes a long having to click on each individual and then clicking on another button on the pop up window etc.

It the menu under the yellow arrow at the right hand side of the queue.
It has a Purge entry and also allows you to enable the "multi-ops" bar.

Ah excellent. So far everything I have been looking for is hidden somewhere

Now the only thing that would be nice is if there was a way to prevent redownload of unnecessary material.
