Hi I am using sick beard to hand over the downloads too sabnzbd. The download starts fine and I get the progress bar 45mb of 400mb it reaches 400mb then fails with an error about retention. I have swapped servers from one with a years retention too one with three years. Also my mate has the same provider and he downloaded the same file ok.

So looking at that the file does not exist ? yet the progress bar looks as if it is downloading ?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

The progress bar only shows how far SABnzbd is through the articles.
The popup in the queue shows how many articles are already found missing.
