First, I want to thank everyone for the tutorials, how-to's, support etc. As a complete noob to sabnzbd, linux and freenas, I was successfully able to set up a freenas box with sabnzbd running.
However, I am running into one problem and have not been able to find a solution. I downloaded an avi file and a mkv file to test my new system. I was not able to open either file through an AFP share or through XBMC live (SMB share). When I tried to open the avi file, I got an error saying that the file could not be opened and may have been damaged. I tried to find a solution and I found that it could possibly be permission issues, but not really what do in this case. Any suggestions/help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Re: Can't open files after download from sabnzbd
Set the permissions in Config->General to 0777.
This won't fix your current downloads, for that you need a bash shell and adjust the permissions manually.
