I run SABnzbd on a QNAP NAS and want to move completed files off the /download share to the /multimedia share using categories.
I have tried \\\multimedia\tv but it isnt working... any ideas please?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

So you need to use Linux compatible local paths.
\\nas\multimedia is how you would use it from Windows.
In Config->Folder or Config->Categories you need to usea path llike this:
/mnt/multimedia
or whatever it's internal path is.
