How to set default download mode?

Post by dcuritois »

Is there someway I can define "default" to mean "+Delete" so I don't have to sit and set it everywhere?

I vent into "Switches/Post Processing" and checked everything except "enable quick check" but still it doesn't seem to repair anything as default.

Check the Default category on Config->Categories.

It is correct that "+Delete" will repair, extract, and delete extraneous material ?

Yes for "repair, extract and delete", but that's only for rar/zip and par2 files.
For other junk (nfo, srr etc.) you can use the cleanup filter in Config->General.

Hm, could I use the program to download podcasts from RSS as well, by setting a category to be download only?

No, since these would not be NZB files and will be rejected.

What does the "Download" mode do then? It must do more than just download then?

Download means, download the content described by the NZB file
without doing repairs or unpacking of rar and zip files.

Ok, thank you.

(Would be nifty though if it could fetch normal podcasts, you seem to handle http downloads already :)
