Hi guys.
First of all, I have to say how much I appreciate the work of the sabNZBd developers. After testing many other Usenet clients I decided that sabNZDb is the best for my wishes! Great work!
Unfortunately i have been witnessing a few problems during last weeks. The first one is, that at approx. 3-4 out of 10 downloads the postprocessing gets stuck at "Waiting". I usually have to quit SAB. When I try this, it completly gets stuck. I have to kill the process via Terminal or Activity Monitor. Very strange.
A very similar problem (maybe same cause) appears in about 1 out of 20 downloads. During the very download the speed drops slowly until it reaches 0 b/s. This often is the case while downloading the last few MegaBytes or even Kilobytes of a file (similar to a P2P bottleneck). The Web-GUI still reacts and everything seems to work fine except the download itself. I tried to pause and resume it, but nothing happened. Then I usually also try to quit SAB normally -> SAB gets stuck completly -> I have to kill the process in order to restart SAB. Usually after this the download finishes just fine in full speed.
Mac OSX 10.7.2 (Lion)
sabNZBd 0.6.14 (latest version)
Provider: Newshoting.com (Unlimited XL)
Thanks for any Tip!

Re: A few problems using sabNZBd (OSX)
Those are probably outside the retention time of your server.
SABnzbd still asks the server for each article and this costs time.
All the while the effective speed will be very low,
Did you try to drag a lower job to the top. Does this speed up things?
