HELP! SABNZBD - Keeps using my old API key :-(

Hello forum! I hope someone could help with this.

I noticed that SABNZBD was no longer downloading content. I checked the status log and could see the following (I've blanked out my true API key):

https://api.nzbmatrix.com/v1.1/download ... xxxxxxxxxx - URL Fetching failed; (Problem accessing nzbmatrix server (error:invalid_login)), Try again

So I went to nzbmatrix.com and generated a new API key. I then went back into SABNZBD and updated the config with the newly generated API key as well. However, SABNZBD still seems to be using my old API key as opposed to the new key (as per the error logs).

Steps taken

1. Reloading the server
2. Updated to the latest version os SABNZBD

I'm still having this issue - I don't know why SABNZBD keeps clinging on to my old API key. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!

You will need to delete any failed attempt in History and probably also in the queue.
The apikey is not replaced in active and failed entries.

Thanks for the tip shypike! I did not know that SABNZBD refers to the error logs when trying to establish a new connection. I will delete all logs / history and see how it goes.

Hmm...looks like that didn't do the trick. It's still trying to use my old API key.

Restart SABnzbd and see of the Config->Indexers page shows the right apikey.

do you mean Config->Index sites ? if so, it does show my new key, but the error shows the old key.

Bam…fixed the problem! SABNZB was using my old API key even when I generated a new one on NZB matrix…so I went into the .ini file for sickbeard and altered it to reflect the new API key – problem solved.
