Web interface slow

Post by hairykewell »

Hi, I'm a new user to sabnzbd and I'm having no luck getting it to work properly. The web interface is just so slow and takes up to a minute to respond.

I'm using firefox, windows 7 and I have ipv6 disabled. I've even tried disabling my firewall and MSE but to no avail. I've also tried different addresses to localhost like 0.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.1. All have been to port 8080.

Can someone help, because my google searches have proven fruitless?

Thanks in advance!

Does Internet Explorer give the same result?

I have had the same problem. Everything worked well yesterday. If SABnzb is running, I can see it in internet explorer but in firefox it times out and does not load.

I think I just fixed my issue. I went into my Router setup to confirm my assigned IP address and found that the router assigned a new IP address to my computer. Once I entered the new address inot Firefox, everything works again. :D
Funny that I could see it in Internet Explorer though. . . ???

That's why we normally recommend 0.0.0.0, so that SABnzbd will find it out by itself.

@ mombulu,

Maybe it's better for you if you set a static IP, so that your router can't change it. Otherwise this keeps bothering you every now and then ;)

Internet explorer does the same thing, and the 0.0.0.0 address doesn't help either. I'll try the static ip
