Remove NZB and Delete Files
I'm running 0.6.10 Plush on Snow Leopard. I'm pretty sure in a much earlier release I was able to "Remove NZB & Delete Files" from History. That only seems to work for incomplete or failed downloads now. I'd like to be able to do the same for completed downloads. I download movies which I watch using Plex but normally I do not want to keep them and just delete them after viewing. If I can delete them from sabnzbd that would be great, at the same time as clearing from history. I tried editing the "plush.js" file and was able to get the option to show up and clickable but it didn't delete the files. Can anyone help to make this work? Thanks
Re: Remove NZB and Delete Files
"Remove NZB & Delete Files" was never supported for successfully completed jobs.
The reason is that SABnzbd cannot be sure where all the files have gone to.
Both the Sorting functions and user scripts make it hard to be sure about this.
We'd rather not make a mistake when deleting files from your media collection.

Re: Remove NZB and Delete Files
Thanks, that makes sense.
Re: Remove NZB and Delete Files
Does the Remove NZB delete the backup NZB or just remove the nzb from the History.
I was looking for it to remove the backup NZB as I only use it to remove failed downloads. and as we know if the Backup NZB is still there it will fail if i retry to download the file again
thanks

Re: Remove NZB and Delete Files
There's no real need to backup nzb files
because a backup is already stored in the download folder.
Just remove the backup folder name and no extra beckups will be made.

What do you mean?shypike wrote:There's no real need to backup nzb files

Which download folder? - the one I just downloaded too?
Where are the NZB stored?
MovieGrabber uses the NZB Backup folder to check for doubles. If there is another location the NZB's are store I would like to Know
Thanks

Re: Remove NZB and Delete Files
The *temporary* download folder.
Each job folder in there contains a __ADMIN__ subfolder that will contain the compressed NZB file.
It's there until the job completes successfully or you decide to delete the job from the queue including files.
NZB files backed up to the "nzb backup folder" will never be deleted.
