Repairing failed, [Error 87] The parameter is incorrect

Post by YodaEXE »

Version: 0.6.10
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: Win 7 Firewall
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? Yes, has happened twice on the same file

I'm getting this error when SAB attempts to repair an nzb I've been downloading. I thought that maybe the first time was a fluke, so I re-downloaded it and had the same thing happen. I can provide the NZB file in question if necessary, as well as anything else that might be needed.

Did you add some text in the field "Extra PAR2 Parameters" in Config->Switches?

No, there's nothing in that field.

Set SABnzbd logging to "Debug" level and try again.
Then open the log file and look for this error.
(Both options are on the Status page).
So far I have no idea what could be going on.

Sure, no problem. I've changed the setting and started the download up again. Once it's finished I'll throw the relevant section of the log your way.

Here's the error log, a bit before and a bit after the error itself:

Please upgrade first to 0.6.14, because in your version the logging of
the par2 command invocation is incomplete.

Alright, upgraded and re-downloaded the file. I think this is the relevant section of the error log, but just in case I've included the whole file as well.

FWIW: I created NZB's for the search term 'Kara coalgirls overlooking 1280' both via yabsearch and nzbindex (as binsearch is down), and both downloads go OK (resulting in a 1.6GB download).

So, can you post your NZB so I can try your NZB?

And: E: is just a NTFS harddisk built in in your Windows system? Or is it an external USB or network (or FAT) drive?

You listed not enough lines and the ZIP file is no longer on mediafire.
Please email it to bugs at sabnzbd.org

Email has been sent. And in this case the E: drive is an NTFS formatted external, connected to the PC via USB.

It looks like it's simply not reliable.
