Slow DL from linux

Hi I have experience some slow Dl from my NAS (UNRAID) then I did some test.

Same settings on all my OS in SAB, same NZB file, so all are identically on all OS.
And I have repeated it several times, with same results. so why is linux slower ???

UNRAID NAS(slackware)): DL 5.5MB/sec see this post -> http://lime-technology.com/forum/index. ... #msg158117

Tripple boot from my Laptop:
UBUNTU: DL 7MB/sec
Windows 7: DL 9MB/sec
OSX lion: DL 9MB/sec


Version: (0.6.14)
Skin (if applicable): Plush)
Firewall Software: (None)
Are you using IPV6? (no)
Is the issue reproducible? (yes)

1GB network interface on both laptop and server.

There are too many factors that affect performance.
So far I usually see a better performance on Linux on comparable hardware.
Make sure that you have an article cache in Config->General (about 200M is a good choice, if you have enough memory).

BTW: I'm moving this post: it's not a bug report.

I have tried the cache, but no different in speed, from 200M to 2G, so it might be a issue under slackware ? its defintly slower on unraid.
