I am guessing the problem probably lies in how I have the PC set up to reboot but am not sure why?

Mysterious category problem
I have a strange problem which I am having trouble tracking down. I use NZB.su SabNZB integration to send nzb's directly to the program. SabNZB assigns it to the default category which I then change later to the one I want. It all looks good my PC goes on standby until 2:30 am where I have it scheduled to first reset and once booted up again to start downloading. When I check it has successfully downloaded in the default location. I have tried to emulate the situation during daylight hours by changing the category and then forcing the download and it downloads it to the appropriate folder.

Re: Mysterious category problem
SABnzbd doesn't like it when it doesn't get the time to save its internal
administration to disk, before it's stopped.
It would be wise to program a pause or shutdown in SABnzbd's own scheduler
a few minutes before you make the PC go into standby.

Re: Mysterious category problem
SABNzb is already in a paused state before it goes into standby so not sure if that is the problem. It also doesn't go into standby for at least 15 minutes after I change the category.shypike wrote:SABnzbd doesn't like it when it doesn't get the time to save its internal

Should I try adding a Shutdown to the schedule prior to the PC restarting or does SabNZB "elegantly" shutdown anyway when windows shuts down?
Cheers
Re: Mysterious category problem
Graceful shutdown is always better, but Windows can be impatient.
The only way around is to run SABnzbd as a service, Windows is much more patient then.
Reading you first post again, I'm not sure what you think goes wrong.
