Illegal characters in files?

Post by arngrim »

Hi all,

This is my first post, so I first would like to thank you about this wonderful program, I'm using it in my Synology 710+, works (almost) like a charm.

I have one problem since the beginning actually:

It is possible to replace the illegal characters in the folder names, that's great, but if the files under these have the same problem, then it's not enough.

Could make the same processing on the filesthat are in the folder, after they have been repaired and unpacked?

Characters like é è ¨ ^ are specially problematic, I'm a french guy O0

Make sure that your NAS stores file names as UTF-8.
If not, unrar will produce problematic names.
