can't "see" sabnzbd web interface

It's running but there is no actual interface visible. I have looked in the forums and there is some info from 2009 but I am a complete idiot it seems as I can't access the ini file they were refering to. sabnzbd.ini ..... couldn't find it with search.... This was working perfectly and now I can't see the interface.... Any ideas? I reinstalled and it asks on launch if I want to start sabnzbd (hidden) .... there doesn't seem a way to opt out of the hidden option????

If you uncheck the tickbox, it won't be started "hidden".
Use the Windows Task Manager to stop the current running instance.
I assume you're using Windows, although you don't bother to mention this.
If using WIndows 7, click the Start button and type
SABnzbd - Safe Mode
Windows will show the matching program: click it.
