force watch folder scan

Post by fusen »

I generally don't use the watch folder anymore so have the scanning time set to around 360+ seconds so that it isn't constantly making my hdd spin but there are some times when I want to dump an nzb file in the folder and let it pick it up automatically without having to use the upload form.

Because of the very long wait I have for folder scans it means the download will start much later than when I want it to (right away)

is there any chance you can create a forced scan that can be linked to from the template?

thanks

Wouldn't it be more practical to use a utility like nzbstatus?

I 2nd this, although also agree its a low priority.

What about, only scanning the folder when the scheduler is active? (or one scan when it starts).
