hi,
i'm a happy sabnzbd-user for years. I'd like now to install the program on my nas (Buffalo Terastion). I've searched the net for a decent tutorial, but could not find a good one. I even don't know if it's possible to run the program on a terastation. Anyone who would like to help me with this?

Re: sabnzbd on buffalo terastation
ipkg update
ipkg upgrade
ipkg install python py24-cheetah py24-cherrypy py24-elementtree py24-celementtree py24-yenc par2cmdline unrar unzip
....
I'm not a programmer on servers, just a website developer.
What do I do with this on nas?
Txs in advance for your reply.

Re: sabnzbd on buffalo terastation
these things are unix/linux command's and have to be typed in in the commandline of your buffalo nas. is there a way to get in to the commandline or send commands to the nas?

Re: sabnzbd on buffalo terastation
Most likely you will have to flash the Terastation with a modified OS to allow access via ssh or telnet so that you can add additional functionality. That is the case with the buffalo Linkstations you have to flash them with a modified os to allow access by telnet or ssh so one could increase the functionality. The buffalo nas central forums and wiki should be able to explain how to do that and be able to help get you started.
