Hi there,
Any chances for Twitter support? I would love to see options like Email Notification On Job Completion (never, always, error only).

Re: Twitter support
Have you search the forum on keyword 'twitter'? A few days ago there one was someone who posted a twitter-script.
Re: Twitter support
Yes Sander I'm aware of those scripts there are two "but":
- those scripts are for Linux
- some people already have post processing script
There is workaround atm but it requires setting up mail notification an forwarding it to Twitter via ifttt.com but build in Twitter support would be nice.

Re: Twitter support
So you're not on Linux? What then: Windows or Mac OSX?
I don't understand your remark about post processing.
Anyway: assuming you have Windows, check out PTF.Tweet (http://code.google.com/p/prtg-addons/wi ... ifications). It's easy to send a tweet directly from the CLI / batch file:
Unpack PTF.Tweet. Go into the directory and runt "tweet -r" to register it with twitter.com. Then:
If that works for you, make a one-liner post-processing script, test it, and you're done.

Re: Twitter support
No I'm running SAB on Linux. I'm asking for Twitter because I was helping someone (over phone) recently to set up SAB and she ask if there is such possibility. Setting up over phone was painfully enough that I don't want to struggle with explaining how to create script. Further more I don't want to log remotely on thath PC otherwise my phone will keep ringing all the time. Btw that script uses Oauth?
Thank you Sander for answers.

Re: Twitter support
Oh, hahaha, I understand your concern. But still I would say twitter is not a SAB-core thing, so it's ideally solved in a postprocessing script. That way you avoid bloatware ánd confusion for new users. But: I'm not a SAB developer, so that's not my call.
BTW: *why* does a (newbie) person want to post his/her downloads?
PS: Oauth? It works, so ... yes, I guess.

Re: Twitter support
They are (3 or 4 girls) sharing one news server and one SAB instance (she has fastest Internet connection) to download music and movies. So once latest Twillight or another great movie is out they want to know and Twitter is cool fb is soooo last year... To be honest I don't know, don't understand and don't care
