List index out of range

Post by gotforce »

Hello there,

I'm fairly new to sabnzbd, and the whole of usenet, however I've had some brief experience with this client. I have successfully run sabnzbd on 2 computers so far, however after reformatting one of them, i cannot get the client up and running.
After inputting my server details into the appropriate config window, I click "test server" and am presented with the error : "List index out of range" in a pop up box. I've tried a few things, but I think the solution may be beyond my current knowledge. Any help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated :)

Version: 0.6.10
OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit SP1
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? Yes

Is that in the Setup Wizard or in Config->Servers?

Both. I skipped past the server setup after receiving the error to see if it was exclusive to the wizard, but the same message occurs in Config->Servers.

Which skin language do you use?
Also, can you set the logging level to "Debug" on the Status page.
When you've done that, test the server again and check the last part
of the log file for odd messages.

I'm using English. After not changing anything, it's started to work out of no where, I'm wondering whether this may have been a problem on my provider's side? Either way I'm sorry for wasting your time, but your assistance was appreciated :)

We've seen some trouble in the past where unexpected error types confused SABnzbd.
I'll check the code again for robustness.
