Downloading Problems.
Hi, when I try to automatically add NZB's to SABnzbd from Sick Beard it hangs on "trying to fetch NZB from """. When I add a NZB manually the download speed is zero, as seen here: http://cl.ly/BaaN. What could be causing this problem?
If there's anything else I need to list or tell you just ask; I haven't done this before so I'm not really sure what you need.

Re: Downloading Problems.
What's the age of the NZB? Is it within the retention period of your Usenet provider?
Speed 0 may also mean that the post isn't on the server.
The popup-on-hover will give an indication of missed articles.
The Fetching issue could be caused by non-responding index site that should deliver the NZB.
Which one is it?

Re: Downloading Problems.
Thanks for your response,
Unfortunately, this issue is occurring with posts only a day old, and NZBs aren't fetched from any sources. Sick Beard is giving the error: "Nov-08 17:07:46 ERROR SEARCHQUEUE-MANUAL-SEARCH :: Unknown failure sending NZB to sab. Return text is: ", with no returned error text.
Thanks,
Declan.

Re: Downloading Problems.
OK, so it's a SickBeard problem. Have you tried the SickBeard forum?
Re: Downloading Problems.
It's not only Sick Beard though, as files from Newzbin that are added manually do not download at all.
Thanks,
Declan

Re: Downloading Problems.
Doesn't the NZB download from newzbin or (once the NZB is in the queue)
doesn't the content get downloaded?
doesn't the content get downloaded?
Re: Downloading Problems.
No, the download speed is zero, as shown in the link in my first post.
Re: Downloading Problems.
The overall pause is off?
No individual job pause?
What does the Status->Connections screen show?

What does the Status->Connections screen show?
Re: Downloading Problems.
As far as I can tell, nothing is paused in SABnzbd (http://cl.ly/BeL8) and this is the connections window: http://cl.ly/BeEi (zero connections)

Re: Downloading Problems.
If you click on the job title, do you get a screen with files?
Does your server have more than 0 connections set? (Config->Servers)
Does your server have more than 0 connections set? (Config->Servers)
Re: Downloading Problems.
... and if the number of connections is more than 0, what happens when you click on Test Server in that same screen?
Re: Downloading Problems.
I have eight connections set up, and a server test is successful: http://cl.ly/Be7D. Clicking on the job title gives me many small files: http://cl.ly/Be1x
Thanks,
Declan

Re: Downloading Problems.
Remove the retention time setting for the server.
It's not useful when you have only one server.
In this case I'd say the NZB is older than 1000 days...

Re: Downloading Problems.
Thanks, but all my NZBs were created within the last week.
Re: Downloading Problems.
I'm sorry to be a pain, but does anyone have any more advice for me?
Thanks,
