I haven't found an answer to this in the wiki or the forums.
When sabnzbd starts a job with par2-files, it always downloads the first par2-file with repair-blocks (usually vol00+01.par2 or something similar), which, for bigger jobs, can have quite a size.
Why is sabnzbd not only loading the much tinier .par2-file?
Needlessly downloading verification-blocks has an impact over time, especially when somebody is using a usenet-service with traffic-restrictions.
Is there a way to change this behavior?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Only the smallest vol-par file is downloaded.
