Sorry, probably a silly question for experienced users but not sure if the enable toggle is left on or off when toggling a server as a backup? Does toggling backup automatically enable the server as a backup and you leave the enable box empty?
thx in advance..
For Backup server is Enable on or off?

Enable and backup are independent settings.
But obviously, a backup server must be enabled before it gets used.

RIght, but is the backup only enabled if I toggle both enable and backup or do I only toggle backup?shypike wrote:Enable and backup are independent settings.

If a server is not enabled, it will be ignored.
The backup setting will make it either a primary server or a backup server.

Perfect, thanks , that's what I was wondering .. I figured it might have been possible that selecting the backup toggle did a sort of "auto-enable" as backup .. and if I did toggle the enable it would override the backup .. now I know the what really happens.. thanks for the help.shypike wrote:If a server is not enabled, it will be ignored.

Can't say how much fun it's been setting this all up .. Sabnzb, Sickbeard, Couchpotato and Headphones .... it's like a dream come true .. only real hickup was when I tried using Couch Potato for renaming/sorting .. wen't through my TV folder and deleted 20 gigs of stuff all by itself .. all setup and good now ...
