Ok I finally jointed the NZB world and love it so far although it seems there is very little intro help due to the fact that it seems to be used by very computer savvy people. I unfortunately am not as much as i would like to be. I have sabnzbd running perfectly from my host computer, but my ultimate goal is to be able to add an NZB to my que from my Android phone. Here is my set up:
Windows 7 Host computer running sabnzbd
Supernews is my host
I'm trying to use secure connections wherever possible
What setup do i need to properly access my host computer from anywhere? VPN? what?
Can someone please help with the software and settings needed to make this work both on my host computer as well as any remote computer/ android phone?

Re: Add NZBs from Anywhere to my host computer
First you need to expose SABnzbd to the internet.
So make sure you use a decent username/password.
Then setup port-forwarding in your home router.
This is a bit complicated and you might need to tell your software
firewall to play nice too.
There is a (paid) app to access SABnzbd in the Android app store (third-party, so not supported by us),
that may be more practical than using the web-ui.
