suggestion: allow multiple day picking in schedules

Post by wcanyon »

I set up a schedule and found that setting up a "start downloading stuff when I go to work" schedule was a little clunky. I think it would be much improved if you made the selection of days a multi-select list box instead of a single select drop down. That way I could say "on M, Tu, W, Th, F at 8AM resume downloading". As it is, I have to say:

"on M at 8AM resume downloading"
"on Tu at 8AM resume downloading"
"on W at 8AM resume downloading"
etc.

Seems like an easy thing to do, just foreach through the selected items in the listbox.

Looks easy, but not supported by the third-party scheduler module.
Someday we'll improve the scheduler options, but not real soon.

Seems like it could be handled on the UI layer if you have control over that.

We have a huge list of musts, wants, etc.
So far we haven't decided this has urgency.
