Cant find Par2 on solaris

Hi im having an odd problem where sab cant find my par2cmd on my soalris 11 install.

Which Ive used before without problems but this time it cant find par2.
Par2 compiled properly and is in the usual spot.
Ive tried starting sab manualy and as root but no difference.

Im stumped with this one.

Is the par2 program in the path?
Is it called "par2"?

which path is it meant to be in?
Its in /usr/local/bin nad its called par2

Solaris has a different path system than Linux , so you need to move it to /usr/bin because this is the equivalent for /usr/local/bin from linux.

Also you could create a symbolic link to it

ln -s /usr/bin/local/par2 /usr/bin/par2

Also make sure any of the path's you decide to use for par2 is in your PATH . Just type

echo $PATH

to see your current path.

But all you need to do is to move it from /usr/local/bin to /usr/bin and it should work if you didn't messed the default paths.
