Cannot start SABNZBD on my XP anymore

Really strange. Yesterday I stopped SABNZBD on my Win XP PC normaly and shut down the PC.
Today I wanted to answer a question for an topic I posted here to an performance issue, but I cannot start it anymore.
When I click SABNZBD the mouse gets an hourglas for a few seconds thats all. No process is running and even no connection per browser.
I had a look at the log files, but they are still from yesterday.
Also a reboot and a new install (over the existing) is withoud success.

My installation has been running for weeks now, without any starting problem.

Here on the board I found nothing usefull to help me with the issue.

Delete your old log file and see if sabnzbd creates a new one. Also try launching the SABnzbd-console.exe and see if that shows any problems.

Log Files deleted. No new are created when starting.
Also the SABnzbd-console.exe has the same issue.

What firewall and anti-virus are you running?

Edit: Also try changing the port it is running on, open up sabnzbd.ini and change the port value then start sabnzbd.

I'm using Bitdefender and already tried also to run SABnzbd with stopped Firewall.

And remember. Until yesterday all runned well. Today, without installing or deinstalling anything SABnzbd didn't start anymore.

Oh, also a different port I tried, unfortunately without success. Could maybe a complete restall (deinstall and new install) help?

What does sabnzbd-console.exe show in it's window?

That's was it. I started the console.exe from cmd, then I got the error that the sabnzbd.ini file is not valid. I had a look and it seemed to me that it is incomplete. After deleting it SABnzbd starts :-)
