"range" in Multi-operations with Plush

Hello,

I searched the forums and the wiki but I'm uncertain what this function actually does or it it works. If somebody could explain, that'd be great! Thanks!

Example: select the first item, select the 10th item, then click on "Range".
Now item 2 up to 9 will also be selected.
