Pretty sure that's what I'm doing, I'll upload a picture when I get home. Haven't setup port forwarding yet ;-)

When I test it, it's OK.
What is the value of your "complete" path in Config->Folders?

Can you do the following?
Go to the Status page, tab Warning.
Use the pulldown menu to set logging level to debug.
Try to enter the y:\hdtv* path again in Config->Categories.
I assume you get the error again.
Go to the Status page again, download the log file there.
Zip and email that log file to bugs at sabnzb.org (include the URL of this post).

Used the wrong version to test :(
You're absolutely right. There's a regression error in 0.6.9, because it worked as I described up to 0.6.8
A possible work-around is to stop SABnzbd and edit the sabnzbd.ini file manually.
