Have just started up usenet using giganews's free trial. Have managed to start downloads etc but they never finish due to SAB potentially not being able to create a destination for them to be saved? Furthmore when they finish downloading it will state that the download has failed due to a possible server retention issue.
I did attempt to change the save directory when starting up so that might have something to do with it

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Did you click on the entries in History?
Does it tell you how many articles are missing?
It is very well possible that Giganews just doesn't have the goods.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Changing the Save directory".
So may or may not be a factor.
