"File join of Expected size..." Error

I get this error:

File join of Expected size did not equal actual size failed

when downloading files using SABnzbd. Specifically, it always seems to happen when I download MAME ROMs. Movies and TV shows download and process just fine. I got it a couple of times when downloading the full MAME ROMs 35GB file, so I tried downloading one of the single letter MAME ROMs file (i.e. all the games starting with G) and got the same error. I saw some previous posts here mention it but they're older posts and don't really mention a specific fix. I am running 0.6.9 of the software on Windows 7 x64. When I get the error, the resulting files are unusable.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix?

Were there any PAR2 files included?

This is a very unusual post. It does contain par2 files.
Given its size, I'm not going to download it.
Possibly SABnzbd gets confused by the content of the ZIP files.
It's probably best to disable unzip support in Config->Switches and then click "Retry" in the history entry of the NZB.

hi i am having the same problem. i havn't been able to fix the problem though even after disabling auto unzip. do you have any other tips?

I doubt if you have actually the same problem, maybe a similar problem.
But with no info, what can i tell?
Also, you are about 15 versions behind, we're at 0.6.14 now.

Are you storing a 38 GB download on a "nvram/memcard" ? Are you sure that that fits?
