Error at Wizard

Post by Quger »

So I installed the sabnzbd and clicked on the icon, it got me to the wizard.
I did the first pages and then I get this page (the link is http://localhost:8080/wizard/four):

Code: Select all

500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "cherrypy\_cprequest.pyo", line 618, in respond
File "cherrypy\_cpdispatch.pyo", line 25, in __call__
File "sabnzbd\wizard.pyo", line 205, in four
File "_Program_Files_SABnzbd_interfaces_wizard_four_html.py", line 183, in respond
File "Cheetah\DummyTransaction.pyo", line 32, in getvalue
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xf8 in position 7: ordinal not in range(128)

Powered by CherryPy 3.2.0
I have Windows 7.
What can I do?
Thank you.

Did you enter "foreign" characters (like è and ç)?
Is there a special character in your user name?

I have no idea.
However it should have stored the data by now.
Kill SABnzbd using the task manager and click on the icon again.

Can I try to install it on my brother's computer and then try to use it with the link in my computer?
Will it work?

Which link? The icon? No.
If you want to access from another computer, you'll need to tell the SABnzbd Wizard to allow external access.
Then tell your software firewall to let SABnzbd through.
Then use your web browser on the other PC to connect to http://IP:PORT/sabnzbd
Where IP is the local IP address of the computer on which SABnzbd runs and PORT is the port you set in the Wizard (usually 8080).
