I'm have a problem with Sabnzbd where I get 600KB/S for a few minutes then it drops practiculalry to nothing,
then back up again I have an 8Mbit Connection to the Internet and am using wireless LAN Connection,
I have just installed Windows Xp and am using the windows firewall and have not installed an antivirus yet,
My computer is an AMD Athlon 2400 with 512MB RAM and my CPU is not maxing out, I am using both my ISP news server
and Astraweb with 20 connections but i have tried as low a 4 with minimal difference.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

I believe shypike's advice is always to check the download speed with another newsgroup downloader like Grabit ...

Well I normally get about 500 to 600KB/s on Newsleecher but I changed to a wired connection and it appear to of fixed the problem and am getting 750KB/S most of the time, I have updated my wireless card drivers but not sure what else I can try
