Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

So nzbmatrix is to blame... If so then I'll just endure it!

They often have issues and for some reason SABnzbd sometimes becomes
confused by how nzbmatrix reacts.
A long standing issue with matrix is that its API delivers empty NZB files for some items
while the website does not.
