Optionally specify a filename: For RSS Feeds

Post by js28194 »

This is to address nzb that are always posted in the wrong section (and probably will never be posted in the right section) and also when the scene calls it something different than what is on TVDB which they are never going to name properly.

Rascalli has created the exception list but unfortunately it does not address the wrong category issue and from what I can read he is not willing to modify sickbeard to look at other categories. I respect his decision so this is one other possible way to allow the use of a feed in combination with the awesome sabtosickbeard script and keep sickbeard up to date also.

If Optional filename was available under every RSS feed it could address this issue.

Example is Nova which the scene calls PBS nova and always posts in the wrong section. Even if I create the feed for this under my tv cat, post processing will still fail since file names are incorrect.

Just some thoughts out of my head. If there is a work around it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the good work.

To be honest, I don't know what this is about.
What is it that you want changed in SAbnzb?

I suppose to sum it up it would be another field under each RSS feed called "Optionally specify a filename" The same box that is under "Add NZB" manually. This will allow us to setup a feed that looks for lets say "PBS Nova" however once the download is completed it will rename the file to "Nova SxxExx". Hence dropping the PBS portion off.
