My "Completed Download Folder" is a network share. I also have my logs, admin, and temp folder on a network share also. Does keeping all the folder locations on a network share slow down any process? I heard that making the "temp" folder local is more wise then making it a network share. Any thoughts on this?
Re: Recommended folder locations...
Networked shares are always slower.
So, if possible, keep all temporary stuff local.
If not possible, set at least an ample article cache in Config->General (if you have the memory)
to avoid reading and writing of lots of small temporary files.
Please avoid putting "admin" on a share. It's rather small and easy to corrupt.

Thanks! I'll make some changes. I have the option to run Sabnzbd on my unraid server but I think I'll use a separate computer. I kind of don't want to take anything away from my unraid server.
