Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

I have been using sabnzbd for quite a while with no issues at all. I have a 15mb connection that i was able to max out. Recently, I added a couple hundred gigs of stuff to the queue (about 15 separate items) and now no matter how I adjust my settings, I get no more than 400kb/s. Frustrating to say the least!
I have taken the step of deleting all the nzbs and reloading them, but the speed never goes above 400.
Right now the queue is about half the size it was when I first started having this problem, but the speed is still slow. It seems like no matter what nzbs are loaded, speed is still limited by something...
I tried shutting down sabnzbd, temporarily moving the contents of the Admin folder (so they'd be recreated) and then reloaded. it noticed one of my files was orphaned, so I let it start downloading again. it still won't go above 400kb or so.
I'm seeing a potential similar behavior. I'm not sure what you define as large queue. Mine is currently 15gb.
I have my setting to max at 800KB. RIght now it'll fluctuate between 40-400KB and usually closer to the 40 range..
Its killing me.
Last time I saw this behavior, I upgraded to the latest build and it fixed my problem.
I'm already on .65. I'm running Windows XP in a virtual machine.
In complicated setups there are just too many factors.
The simplest test is to use an alternative program like Grabit to
check whether or not it's an actual SABnzbd problem.
Why do you think they have an EU server?
Getting large amounts of data over the big pond isn't trivial.
If you're watching You-tube and you're in Europe you can be sure the data comes from Google's European data centres.
