problem with warnings - what is there to warn?

Post by aoaaron »

Authentication missing, please enter username/password from Config->General into your 3rd party program:

Hi, I've downloaded SAB and have an NZB matrix.

This username/password keeps coming up as a warning but I don't think I have any programs trying to access it. Is there a way for me to see whats trying to access it? Is it NZB Matrix? I don't see an option for it to be using SABnzbd in a way for it to get rejected.

Thanks, Peace.

Some security utilities insist on talking to any local webserver.
SABnzbd considers this to be an unauthorized access attempt and warns.
That's the most probable cause. nzbmatrix.com has nothing to do with this.
There is a hidden option to suppress the warning:
http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-special item api_warnings
We don't make it easily accessible because the warning can be about a serious problem.
