Would i need a new search engine or provider to find different files?
I was thinking about it and no matter if I use nzbmatrix, NEWZbin, nzbz.org, etc. Wouldn't my chances be the same at finding something I'm looking for? The Files can only come from one place, my provider, so does it matter if I use another search engine since thy'll all just be searching the same place? Or do I need to get another provider to be able to access different files?
Re: Would i need a new search engine or provider to find different files?
Indexers which are report based (nzbs.org, nzb.su, etc) can potentially miss files by improperly grouping them, or failing to group them together at all. Indexers which are contrib-based (nzbmatrix) may miss files by simply not having a user upload an associated nzb. Indexers that have "raw mode" searching (newzbin, binsearch.info) may miss files because they don't index the group they're posted to.
If you use a report-based and a raw-mode indexer and still can't find what you want then it's pretty safe to assume it doesn't exist.

Thank-you, that answers my question. Something else I was wondering, il probably just post a new thead but anyway, I've been trying to find out what sabtosickbeard is and how to use it. What does it do that you can't do with sab and sickbeard already?inpheaux wrote: Indexers which are report based (nzbs.org, nzb.su, etc) can potentially miss files by improperly grouping them, or failing to group them together at all. sabtosickbeard.py is the glue between SABnzbd and SickBeard. It's a SABnzbd post-processing script that passes the completed download info to SickBeard so it can organize the data.
