Issue with SABnzbd+ on a Mac

Post by solographics »

Everything was working fine then all of a sudden, I get a "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:8080." error in Firefox when starting up SABnbzd+. Everything works okay except the web interface.

Any ideas?

Does it work after you really reboot your Mac?

Does SABnzbd still run?
Does the down arrow in the top menu bar still show?
Did it start on another port? Try http://localhost:8085/sabnzbd

Yes it used to work. I tried deleting the preferences and now I have the down arrow in the menu bar and when I click on it, I see "Go to Wizard" and "Quit" since the setup that I went through earlier is erased (stupid move on my part).

I've tried different all the different ports listed for astraweb and none work.

So what happens if you click "Go to Wizard"?
Otherwise open this file with TextEdit and look for the "host =" and "port =" lines.
