Selective unpack

Post by Redi Jedi »

Im sorry if this is off topic but this is the closest thread i could find about this subject.  Is there a way to have sab unrar only the video file, or delete the other files after unrar so that there is no folder leftover.  i would like for the only thing left from the download/unrar process to be the file which is then moved into my show folders.  Does this require my own scripts?  I had it setup with alt.binz but sab seems to have less specific unrar settings.

Start you own topic instead of hijacking an existing unrelated one.
SABnzbd has an option to delete files at the end of post processing, based on file extensions.
See Config->General, Clean-up list
For the rest, check the sorting options. They are a bit (too) complicated, but may solve your problem.

Yea sorry about, thank you for going ahead and making this a new topic.  I didnt see that option in sab but it still wouldnt have fixed the folder issue.  However I went ahead and setup sabtosickbeard post processing and that is able to delete the folder and all the files other than the video.  So if anyone else had the same issue thats a pretty simple way to do it.
