sabnzbd: 443 only?

Post by kameleon25 »

I am wondering if there is a way to make the sabnzbd service only listen on port 443?

I have a setup that only allows me to open port 443 and 80 to the server. I want to use sickbeard also but need it accessible via the web. Sp basically I need sabnzbd to only listen on port 443 and sickbeard only on port 80. I have tried changing sabnzbd to only 443 but it still will pull up on 80 also. Any ideas?

Upgrade to release 0.6.0 RC1.
Enable HTTPS but do not set a separate port for HTTPS.
Now only HTTPS will be permitted.

Thank you for that. Should note that in order to accomplish this I had to change the "http port" to 443 and leave the https port blank. Then I had to set sickbeards port to 80 and it works like a charm. Thanks!

https on port 80 will work, but probably most browsers will be hopelessly confused by it.
