Hello,
This is what happens on Mac en Windows:
I put a view files of 40GB in the waitinglist. The speed starts on 10MB/s (100Mbitline)
The first one goes fine. No trouble what so ever.
The second one is also on 10 MB/s, but the third one is going down to about 2 MB/s and there is no way getting it up again. Even restarts won't help. But now the strange thing.
When I put the same file in the waitinglist again, or any other file, it goes back to 10 MB/s. Putting the old file back (same file on usenet) it goes back to 2 MB/s. I really don't understand it. It seems an issue with Sabnzbd.
Downloadspeed goes down very fast. Other files are doing fine.

What do you mean by "putting the old file back"?Valconi wrote: Putting the old file back (same file on usenet) it goes back to 2 MB/s.
I'm not sure I understand the difference between "when I put the same file in the waiting list again"
and "putting the old file back".
Maybe it's best to upgrade first to release 0.6.0RC1, because it's unlikely that we will create another 0.5.x release.
Re: Downloadspeed goes down very fast. Other files are doing fine.
I put the nzb of a bluray in the waitlist. After a while its speed goes down to about 2 MB/s.
However, when I insert the very same nzb in Sabnzbd and put it on top it goes up again to about 10 MB/s. When I put the previous file back again, it goes down to 2MB/s again.
I now have one nzb twice in my waitinglist. They're both on 14GB of 40GB. One is on a speed of 3 MB/s and the other on 10MB/s.
And I do use the latest Sabnzbd.

Re: Downloadspeed goes down very fast. Other files are doing fine.
OK, I think I understand the situation.
Not so easy to test because it involves giant-sized downloads.
BTW do you see differences in the __ADMIN__ subfolders inside job's folder in "incomplete"?
Differences in the amount of files and relative sizes?
The names will all be different.
This will be hard to tell.
When you set logging to "debug" level and you run SABnzbd-console.exe you can see the logging live.
Does the slow job often do job "saves" that hang for a longer time?
We did solve an issue with this in the past, possibly it comes back in some circumstances.
I will get back to you with more detailed questions, once I know what to look for.

Re: Downloadspeed goes down very fast. Other files are doing fine.
Should you still have this situation of two identical NZBs with different speeds,
can you collect the SABnzbd_nzo_????? files from the __ADMIN__ sub-folders?
Then ZIP them and email this too.
